Holy scheisse. If somebody's life could be more pain-filled and accident prone than mine, I think you would win the medal.
A douchebag actualy wanted to put you on chemo without knowing what was wrong with you? He should have his license to practice medicine revoked!!
Btw, WTF is up with the numbness? I have a small patch on the side of my foot that is totally numb...feels just like you say, like novacaine, but I have no idea what it is.
My parents ARE diabetic, so I hope it has nothing to do with that. I can afford to lay off the carbs, though, since it does run in the family.
Oy, indeed.

My mom had this - well, the numbness part, and it was in her hands as well - she turned out to have Raynaud's disease -

For her it just means taking meds and all was better. Hope they find something wrong - just so that it all turns out to be easily treatable! Because I definitely know how frustrating it is when you can't find out WHAT is wrong! Take care, and feel better!

Good Lord! Sounds like you've been through the wringer. I hope you get it figured out and get to feeling better soon.

Extra points to Dr. Knucklehead for proposing treatment without a diagnosis. At your next appointment, ask him if you can see his balls because they must be ENORMOUS.
