I got up early today to wait for a plumber. He was supposed to come last week, but he didn't show up. Today he was supposed to come for sure.....nothing.
Maybe he needs Viagra. (I joke, I joke.)
Thank you, I'll be here all week.
Anyway, now he says he'll be here tomorrow for sure. Should I believe him....or should I sleep in?? You just know that if I get up early, he won't show up....but if I sleep in....?

Ok....I have a mini rant here.
There is some guy who parks in my parking garage (which happens to be conveniently located just below the bedroom of my apartment).....who somehow manages to set off his car alarm every morning while he is fumbling for his keys. He is never in any rush to turn it off.....I can hear him down there, opening and closing doors, getting ready to leave....all the while, the car alarm is going off! Finally, he turns it off and leaves.....but some mornings, he's forgotten something and has to go back upstairs. Then, of course, the whold process starts all over again.
Why can't this guy figure out how to work his car alarm??!!!
But I've given up on that.....being the calm and peaceful person that I am (yeah, right!)...I've learned to just ignore it. Until now....as the problem has excalated in the oddest way.
Many months ago, I wrote about some wild Mocking birds that had learned to mimick the parrot that lived next door. Well, the parrot moved out some time ago. But not the Mocking birds! No! They have now learned how to mimick the car alarm sound!!!! Oy! I hear this on and off all night long and through the day. And they seem to really like perching right outside my bedroom....perhaps so they can be as close as possible when the car alarm goes off next.....or just to annoy me!
This has got to be worse than just plain old noisy neighbors. What to do? What to do???! Oy.
